After a decade and a half of performing with The Future Babes, Carson Fleischman is releasing solo material for the first time.
Based in Atlanta, Georgia, his music lives somewhere between indie rock and Americana (depending on the day), rooted in the plainspoken honesty of artists like Elliott Smith, Bad Books, and Bright Eyes.
With a voice that cracks when it needs to and lyrics that don’t hide behind metaphor, Carson’s songs are raw, direct, and stripped to the essentials. Life of the Party unfolds across three EPs: Vol. 1 captures quiet, acoustic demos recorded with minimal interference; Vol. 2 expands the palette with fuller arrangements and strings; and Vol. 3 turns the volume up—five loud, guitar-driven songs recorded with urgency and intent. Together, the trilogy embraces imperfection and momentum over polish.
